I know, the poke is homo. Wanted more stretch but already had these tyres :/

 yeah the golf hahahaa need to do some work to it really before i sell it!

Simon, the rear seats are in the polo and the fronts are in the golf. The golf already had a set of rears to match with headrests

Thats a shame, I wanted them back! haha! So long as they're being used

 there nice, but there not as nice as on the golf frames, due to the fact i used frames for non bolstered seats (dont have the metal bad to strengthen the bolsters)

if you got some frames from a coupe s or a gt/g40 they would be really nice!

May just have a set of those too :ninja:

Flare those arches you pikey bastard

You know your doing it wrong when chief bodge tells you your a pikey bastard

hahaha!

how can i flare the arches and keep the plastic trims? i like them

GRP arches, yeh safe!

  • Author
Take the trims off and flare the arches as much as you want. The return lip on the plastic trim cut it all off bar like 3mm so it looks stock when you silicone it back onto the wing! Then go ahead and silicunt that biatch back on! Shazam, one pikey flareage job!

hmm. looks like i need to nag my mate to use his arch roller for flairing :ninja: dont fancy doing them with a baseball bat and pliers this time

  • Author

oh and btw, anyone got pics of polomons method of pikey flairing?

  • Author

haah jokes, the ones on my golf were fun. i love hammers and baseball bats

yeaar i need more lows deffo. needs a coil out of the front but i dont have the tools ect to remove the front struts tbh

A few things

1. You can't put the trim on after flaring because the trim will be a totally different shape to the flared arch.

2. You don't need to remove the strut to chop a coil, jack up, wheel off, angle grinder in and prepare to retract at the sound of the twang.

3. What the fuck is actually going on with you two and your flirting?

  • Author

hmmm, sounds good. may investigate further with mr grinder :)

we have a love/hate relationship :p

Coilover conversion as me MON says, its gotta be done.

  • Author

i just remembered my tax & insurance & MOT are all up soon....fuuuuuuuuuuck
