slam panel was pushed in ect, tried pulling it back out but it snapped off the car. the plan is to drill the spot welds off the black one and use that slam panel as a bolt/riveted on one possible, may cut the end part of the inner wing off of the black one and weld it to the new one too to make sure it will all line up.

what you on about heater? heaters at the back of the bay.

yeah thats the reason i was gonna bolt it or something. plus alot easier than welding.

mk2 golfs have a bolted on slam panel so i wouldnt have thought that a bolted one on a polo would be a problem?

yee. i spose if i bolt it rather than rivet it it will be as strong if not stronger than 4 teeny spot weldes on each side lol

ahahah. its not so much lining the headlights up I'm worried about because of the adjusters obv, its the bonnet catch lining up that worries me!

fuck that lol. yeah its only the top right of the slam panel ill have trouble with, the rest of it i can just mark around with a sharpie or something and get it in the same place. then i spose get the bonnet to close and mark it up
