a modified car rarely worth the sum of its parts eric. I bought my mk2 for 300, granted the bodywork was battered but the chassis was solid. afh conversions can be done on the cheap too. but someone will probably pay 1500.

As for the bodged parts, even the angry radiator fan is fixed lol. I think the only problem left on it is the slight oil leak from the cam cover, everything else is fine! And it doesent rattle when i drive it anymore!! Lol

The painted bits that shouldnt be painted, the dodgy welding the exhaust thats ''better'' that the last time, theres a few bits and bobs you mention but personally for me it would be the bits you dont minetion i would worry about.

I'm sure it is done properly its just me being picky. If you've had intrest though then what does it matter, besta' luck with the sale and good luck with the blue one and the G plans

The thing is, if it had a nice shiny spray job i dont think anyone would think that its bodged at all! I only went for matte as the original paint was beyond repair, and this didnt cost too much :)

Hmm fair point, as i sealed the sunroof up i wasnt too bothered anyways, the window seals I'm sorting out asap though.

The only thing that he said was a problem was the windscreen and the poke, everyrthing else was good, he checked the screen and its not in drivers view ect so it was a pass, he let me off with the poke though. Had a good look underneath too and no rot! Even he was impressed lol

I even got the horn working after all this time!! Lol

hahah yeah. literally the only thing i can think of is the sunroof, usual afh rocker cover leak and the front poke apart from that its solid!

tbh if i had the cash id 100% keep it, but atm the only way of having boost is selling and then next year boosting the coupe s (after the rear 1/4 panel is fixed ) lol
