this was it when i bought it

since this pic the interior has been tidyed up and the bolster on drivers seat repaired, i will eventually paint/detail the dash

as previous owner painted it at least 4 times in aerosole paint i had to sand it all off as i did not want any reaction or flaking when i put on the 2k primer, i had to weld in a new rear arch plate the sill, the tailgate handle was smoothed with a bit of plastic and silicone sealer and filler so i tapped that out and welded it up, I've rolled all 4 arches ready for the deep dish wheels, smoothed the wing repaters, filled/smoothed side grilles on bumper and numberplate recess

i primed it yesterday in 2k primer and am so happy now the body is all 1 colour i really regretted buying the car at first but I'm alot happier with it now

i painted the wheels and roof in black aerosole just 4 now as i really did not like the red

had to get some pressed plates ideal finishing touch to any car ..not that mines finished

I'm debating on what colour to do it as the recaro colour concept seats have green centers I'm going to work around that colour,as its a open air model I'm gunna do front n sides of roof black defo, but not sure on shell colour I'm either thinking white or bright green, but would like to hear other peoples opinions as long as they r not offensive........ I'm going to be lowering it alot more deep dish wheels, camber, de badge grille etc ,the engine bay will also be as clean as the outside

looks like you've turned this around well, i've seen a few photos of your last one knocking about and although i'm not a fan of 6n's i really like it, the colour is stunning

thanks i loved the baby blue too, but the car stood out too much tho most people loved it

i took the car off the road few days ago as the mot is out , i gotta get a new windscreen , bottom atm 2 new tyres seat runner rubbers etc before the mot then tax her , I've been so lazy with this project but she will be there soon , i will be respraying her very soon too , shes going bright green 2 match the seats

any ideas welcome..... ill also be after sum deep dish wheels very soon if anyone has anything????

at last i got her resprayed , nice to see shes looking like a roadworthy car at last , i also got her taxed and moted yesterday , i put on 2 new bottom arms , 2 tyres and a windsreen , painted the wheels purple just 4 now untill i get summat with dish, shes still a long way from finished but I'm pleased with the outcome so far

Only thing i dont like is the smoothed grills on the front bumper, other than that it looks good

I was intrigued as to what it was, wether it had been repaired or widened. youve done all the work yourself and youve done a bloody good job by the looks of it so hats off for that
