MOT Time - quick question

Featured Replies

Right, got my MOT on Friday, but unfortunately my car does not have any door cards :-(

Is there any reason why this will fail an MOT due to this?

I will be chucking on some window winders and it has door handles....

So is there anything specific it would fail on?

Yes it is annoying not having any, but hopefully a set will turn up for sale at a reasonable price for an mk3 soon...

as long as you can open the door from inside, youll be sweet.

make sure your seats can tilt forward and seatbelts are all fitted.

Thanks, everything else is there, just my doorpods are taking londer to get hold of and my MOT is due :-(

doorcards arent part of the mot test

only think it applys to the outside but sharp edges can be failed on like a bit of the body stuck out don't think it works on the inside and it's not really that sharp any way

Yeah that's only on the outside so as not to hurt pedestrians. They don't care if you hurt yourself because that's your own fault :D

fuck pedestrions shouldn't be touching my car ;) hahah
