2002 Polo 1.4 16v se

Featured Replies

Okay, so a little about me, my names AJ, for short, I am female...and know a bit about cars...but cant really do any mechanical work, but am learning.

I have a few jobs and am studying at uni, so keeping busy and would think I have more money than I actually do...but am planning on doing bits here and there to get this car looking a bit better and to start putting my 'stamp' on it. My first car was a 1994 0.9 Fiat cinquecento, which was okay for a first car, was a bit scary though, I then moved onto a 2004 1.4 seat arosa, which was great and regretably sold it for a orange lupo gti, which infact, was falling apart. After all the stress that the lupo caused... I decided to stick with the vw's and get a polo. It needs a new starter motor and some of the tappets need replacing, but apart from that...thats all that I can see wrong with it.

Spec:

2002 1.4 16v se

3 doors (wahoo)

Debadged at rear

De-wipered

FK coilovers, at 50mm.

White pepperpots (not sure if I like them white...)

Sounds a little like a baby tractor atm, tappets.

Aircon.

Needs a bit of touch up paint here and there.

JVC double din cdplayer.

So a big update of all the new things...:

...Brought new JVC double din head unit, as after having a dvd player in the loop, I needed something bigger than a single din. Also got new plates on, nice and simple, one of the yellow bolts on the back was covering a letter....black permanent marker worked a treat :p

The time came to put my stamp on the car. Fruit polo wrappers! Got round to doing the front and rear badge , with plenty of lacquer to keep it solid (she says).
