The service light, most vws are the same its, ignitoion off hold right push button on clocks turn key on release an turn left button on clocks always forget if it left or right u turn...

or single button, ignition off hold button turn key on wait for ---- turn key off

there are other ones aswell but i presume it will be one of these rather than the oil + insp ones

good luck

Might get more answers if it was also in the right section.....

Depends how much you want to spend:

Normal bog standard battery is 360amp

Bosch silver is 520amp and more expensive

braught? you should get 3 octopus for that

but brought, just the one octopus

You have a big choice of batteries as there's plenty of room. They're quite universal,as long as you have the popular european terminals (not some jap or old Ford).

Somewhere in the 400's will be plenty, just go to Halfords and have a look, then buy that one from somewhere not so expensive..

If you go to Halfords, try to find someone with a trade card. Batteries are ~60% the cost with trade discount :-)
