north/ south divide? only piss poor insurance area i can think of realistically down south is the rougher parts of london/ middle of cities like brighton, southampton, portsmouth etc. the quality of life seems better down here?

bit of an unfair comparison there chaps, southern in that context will more than likely relate to the USA and its interbreeding issues. norfolk and cornwall must the only plces barren enough for people to resort to that sort of thing.

Was born in london, grew up in dorset and now live in west london.

I hated dorset, found it boring as hell, and really love living in a big city, there's always something to do :)

I live in Southend by the sea been living here for 30 odd yrs and cannot fault the area i live in but there are some aspects that aren't so nice but you learn to avoid those areas in the evenings but over all its not a bad place with the sea front which is famous for its mile long pier and the cruises on a Fri /Sat evenings and the clubs and bars are not too bad .

Would i move away ?? i very much doubt it unless i win the lottery but that wont happen as i dont play it :-D

See i just went out last night in leeds with a few southerners (mates of friends) and I'm not really sure i could deal with the accent on a permanent basis =P

Theres good and bad places in both the north and the south so makes no difference to me apart from the cost of living been much higher lower down!

Id rather be up the prettier north country side though.

Hate London though, over crowded smog filled place....Dont see why its so special?

All places will soon be like here in Bradford though so its just a case of where stays nicer the longest!

Bradford is pretty shit. I've got family over there, used to own a surgery on marlboro road. Went from there being loads of clinics and solicitors and shit, to an absolute shithole in the space of a decade or so.

Saturday morning, a group of coloured guys tried to start on me and my mate for no reason what so ever, were just walking passed

A friend of mine is a bit of a big gym buff and they drove past and abused his gf walking with him, he actually chased the car down they stopped and before the driver had a chance to react my mate had ripped him from his seat took his belt off and turned his face to pulp! While he did this his mates who were in the car still jumped in the drivers seat and fled and left their mate to be beat! Karma is shit aye! haha!

Caught a look at a nice mk2 red golf slammed coming out of Tescos up great horton but thats about it!

Having gone through Bradford twice tonight, if you live by Shipley/saltaire place, prepare for pikeys,

Saw a shitton of them with massive static caravans and lorrys.

And the mcdonalds by the M606, saw 7 or 8 pikeymobiles going round the roundabout.

Rather you than me tbh, last experience I had with pikeys, they 'supposedly' burnt down a waste disposal facility a mile or so from my parents house. All a bit suspicious when the houses nearest the fire all get burgled when everyone's Been evacuated.

as above i live in hull and seriously detest the place, literally nothing to do nowhere to go. everywhere u look there is a chav on a granny shopper a local smak head asking for change, dog shit and smashed bottles all over! feel guilty that my kids have got to be brought up here! luckily i work away a lot and get to see some lovely places away from local chavved up shit boxes! if only the missus would move from there even to the outskirts of it just not in it! oh and the council are wankers!

the red mk2 golf is my sisters, and mine is the black openair on 13" starmags, i drive as little as possible in bradford though :p
