hi guys I've been on here for a little while now and have made a few changes to my car since i bought it to now but i haven't posted a thread up about my car so here goes I'm gonna have a crack at it ill let the pictures do the talking

this is how it looked when i bought it

it was already lowered by 20mm on shocks and springs it came de-wipered and it had a clifford g5 alarm and remote locking system

about a week later i odered some coilovers i couldnt afford nothing amazing so had a look through ebay and found some ta technix

this is how it sat after fitting the coilies

when the weather had cleared up and the sun started to come out i gave the car a good clean and polish and went for a little photo shoot

so next thing i had to get sorted was a nice set of wheels

i had originally decided on a set of merc 8 holes so picked up these at a really good price

i then realised it was harder to find the adapters than i thought it would be so i put the merc wheels up for sale and i did a deal with a bloke on some ronal r15s and £150 which i was rather pleased about this is how the ronals looked when i recieved them

they had been sand blasted but not very well so i had to have them sent off for a pro refurb and this is how they looke dwhen i got them back

the obviously i needed some rubber to get them on the road i went for bridgestone potenzas 165/50/15s all round costing me just over 200 quid

thats all for now i have a few plans for the future which i will post tomorrow heres some pictures of the car with the new wheels

still not sure about the wheels but maybe they will grow on me

Those wheels look really good on it mate, they remind me a bit of Clio alloys and that's not a bad thing.

Only thing I would say is they would probably look better in my eyes in a really nice silver on the car. But it's your car.

I see what you're trying to do matching the front badge to the wheels but I think a black badge would look better.

And maybe some spacers on the rear to make them stick out a bit more at the back?

thanks mate what Clio alloys do u mean I can't think of which ones u could mean also with the colour of the wheels I really wasnt sure on what would look good on a dark blue car other than White but I'm planning on having the 5 spokes colour coded with my car just need to find out the paint code for my car and polish the dish up because the wheels look very bright nthey need breaking up so they don't take to focus away from the car also with the badge I quite like it White but I'm tempted to try black n see how I feel

spacers are next on my list just haven't decides how wide I want them I was thinking 10mm either side at the rear and maybe 5mm either side at the front but not too sure :)

cheers mate I may take the stickers off I'm undecided I get a few laughs with " the closer you get the slower I go " sticker and with the gti strip I did actually attempt to paint it White but it was working very well so until I have more time to sit down and do it properly I have put it on being red :) cheers for the comments guys

future plans:

- have the wheels resprayed (spokes colour coded with car and dish polished)

- get all bump strips removed and smoothed over the relocate number plate to bottom grill

- new interior looking for ibiza cupra seats then retrim them

- retrim headlining nothing wrong with mine just want it more interesting

- lower it more fronts are currently 120 and rears 100

- spacers for the rear 10-15mm both sides and maybe space the fronts out

- camber shims

- spray the gti strip White

- give the car a full respray may do it myself

wheels are up for sale at the mo as I have my heart set on a few different sets but I may still keep these depends on what I'm offered for them
