try 185/45 dude rather than 165/50.

Yeah 165/50 is unnecessary to be honest.

I'm running 185/45's on an 8J rim, this is what mine look like to give you an idea.

a small update after fitting 2 new tyres and lowering all the way at the front and a good clean also sprayed the badges black

heres one of the stretch i like it although most probs wont :)

165/45/15 federals

having my rear arches rolled tomorrow night for more lows at the rear and also removing the helpers on the front on saturday :)

haven't updated in a while nothing much has really changed other than new rear tyres and gone abit lower

now running 175/50 tyres on the rear rather than the 195/45

and now how it looks with being abit lower

no the mk2 golf is tinting spray so lay it on as thick as u like and my polo is just where the lights go all milky and horrible

sorry wasn't much help but the tinting spray is only about £15 for a cab in motorist centres or halfords
