A few small animals, had a bird smash my headlamp and the sound of a rabbit hitting the front subframe brace is not nice, neither is removing it so I try my best not to.

Worst is dead badgers in the middle of the road, ripped my fuel lines off there clips last time.

I hit a kid off his bike if that counts? (He was a chopsy chav so its all good)

Broke me front valance

1-rat

1-bugs bunny

rabbit, badger, fox then fucked the van totalling a deer all in the same week then run over my mates foot for good measure

Christ, i thought a 'Wildlife' thread will be people talking about what they see wildlife-wise in Britain, roadkill was the last thing on my mind!

The other day i ran over a dead rat that was in one piece, my heatshield hit it and looked behind and it was in 3?!!?

Threads like this remind me of this:

Deer vs BMW

i have hit a rabbit a bird and i no its not wildlife but a i also hit a cat

I hit a Barn owl :(

I was in the car with my mate, felt pretty guilty tbh, all the way home I kept getting 'I bet that Owl had a family...'

Luckily I've never hit anything lol (that I've known about anyway)

Had a near miss with a badger, it woulda owned me if it hadn't have just ran out of the way lol.

I'd get all upset if i did kill something though  Id feel proper guilty, as above.

I don't get how people can find it funny? People boasting about hitting cats etc.. 1 you just killed something and 2, you just killed, in a way, a member of someones family.

Then again, i have more love for animals than humans. I'm the kind of person that spots a dead cat in the road, pulls over at moves it out of the road so as it doesn't turn into a pancake. As i know it would actually kill me if i saw my cat like that.

Three deer in three weeks in my old mk2 breadvan and it lived to tell the tale.

Pulled the front panel out with a tyre lever, put it on ebay and bugger me, an 'old dear' bought it.

Anyone else remember the documentary with that chap who lived off road-kill and had a huge freezer full of the stuff?

Takes all sorts. :puke:

The worse was when i hit a little bunny, it was mid hop hit the bumper, then actually splashed on my windscreen and then onto the car behind! I had to pull over to clean its insides and fur off my window.

not the best experience!

Oh and i failed one of my driving tests for hitting one of those chav things.

I've hit a hedgehog a grass snake, several friends and my friend ran over a pidgeon at 5mph at we looked back and it was spinning in circles. Also see some guy run over a deer in slow motion and see all it's skin rip and bones crack as it went up into the wheel arch proper brutal.

we very nearly hit a cat the other day, went infront of the drivers wheel, and out behind the passenger wheel, we heard it bang on the exhaust

not like we were in a 4x4 either, very lucky cat!

Thats the nicest punto I've seen in a long time.

That punto looks alot like my mates. I prefer that one though

I hit a dead bird the other day, I would've gone round but traffic coming the other way so had to clench and hit it, didn't bounce much though like the few rabbits and other things I've hit, just left this....

Was out with my dad on his bike the other year. Caining it down a b road in the dales, next thing you know he reverse headbutts me and we suddenly stop. get off the bike and his helmets covered in blood. slightly confused, he takes his helmet off and just shouts 'fucking seagulls'. was nothing left of it, found some feathers and a bit of spray.

Nothing yet :p

i hit a badger at 60 down a country lane in my old 6n2.

Luckly it went under the car and hit the sump, it was like hitting a brick wall though, proper decelerated the car.

Ripped alot of the plastics of the car underneath and did some minor damage to the bumper, sump didnt even dent haha.

Fucker was still alive! be it crawling into a hedge.

Didnt try to avoid it, proberbly the worst thing i could do at 60, just slammed the anchors on a clenched my arse

___

I think there a sticker on ebay i want to buy.

"Lost your cat? look under my tyres"
