Hi Guys,

Has anyone replaced a 6n sunroof before as my seal has come away from the glass some how and water can easily come in now... if anyone has any info about howto replace the seals or simply how to remove the sunroof I would truly appreciate the info.

Removing sliding/tilting roof glass panel

‒ Tilt sliding/tilting roof open.

‒ → Slide sliding headlining -1-to rear.

‒ Slide trim frame -2- to rear (clipped on in area of front guide -A- and guided at rear by guide -B-).

‒ → Remove securing screw -1- (Torx key T 25).

‒ Take sliding/tilting roof panel out upwards.

i assume you mean the whole unit?

its pretty simple to get the whole lot out, just remove the roof liner, thats a bit of a stressful task but not really difficult, then the frame of the sunroof is just held in by about 10 bolts.

i found that my old one was leaking from around the corners of the guttering, so seal up the plastic corner pieces with sealant before putting the new one in just to be safe
