how do you get the headliner off cos i want to do mine ? and the pillar trims. do they just pop off ?

looks awesome mate, how well does the spray adhesive hold it in place? wouldnt want it to come off and have to remove the whole thing again!

If I'm honest mayte I never used the spray glue. I just used double sidded carpet tape asd its super strong, but I would advise using both, seing as some1 else has this roof linning I'm more than likely going to redow mine now can't be the same lol so yeah when I redow it I will use both and maybe m$ake a thread on how to

fair play mate! yeh a thread would be cool

might have this done by end of the weekend depending on weather i get coilys instead lol

right sein as masquerade had the same headlinning i thaught i would change mine :) just like to have something different.

so i did try to take loads of pics to make a build thread on how to but i forgot a little so ill put up what i have.

Remove grab handles, sun visours and interior light

pull down rubber seals around door enuf so the roof lining comes free

full the plastic trimes at the top so the clip comes loose around the front pillers dooor pillers and at the back

then your lining will happily slide out of the boot

now I'm abit cheap so i didnt use spray glue or any other type of glue i just use DOUBLE SIDDED CARPET tape as its very strong and holds very well

so i put stripes of tape all around the roof, now i did put more tape around the linning nafter i toook the pic

next i cut the bedsheet in half

IMPORTANT POINT

get the misses to press down as you go so there is no baggy bits or wrinkles so its nice and smooth :) lol

once this is done get a stanley knife and cut the interior light hole out and the holes for grab handles

right some people may do this different but i then follded over the overlap and just stapled it to the back of the linning

after that was done roof is done and you can put back in

put the rubber seals back up and bang the plastic trim on pilllars back on

now i only had a tiny bit of wood left but i thaught i would make it a little vbit better but i will be redoing this soon when i can get some more

i thaught my cat was somewhere

not the best but will redoo soon and get the pics up so dont critasize about this please

i like the rooflining before and now dude but i dont like the white i think if you did the boot black it would look mint :)

Yeah I did want it black but the bed sheet was black on 1 side and white on the other and on a single sheet one side covers the roof lining perfect so I had to use white maybe ill get another sheet soon :)

looking sweet dude, for anyone else thinking of doing this, DO NOT USE SPRAY GLUE, they guy who did it in my car before did, and since the hot weather recently the glue has melted in the heat so I've had to quick fix it with staples for the time being untill i get time to redo it!

yeah spray glue dont seem to be that good as my maytes roof linning has just fallen down to paha,

double sidded carpet tape is about 7pound a rolll and i got mine from focus, i used a roll and a half to do the hole roof, just to make sure theres no sagging bits around the courners and sides ect.

yeah i did think about it or just spray them black with the grab handles haven't decided yet tbh and the pillars will be done but seing as I've had no work for the last 4 weeks I'm pretty skint so my build thread and stuff has come to a halt :(
