I suppose it's time I put some pics up of my G40 . It's a late model in Tornado Red, just ticked over to 101k.

Engine-wise it's pretty much standard apart from the boost return mod and Jabbasport induction. It ran 112.3bhp on the rollers last Feb 100% stock so it seems to be a strong engine.

It's got a Venom 70/50 kit on and I've done the 256mm brake upgrade. A respray and some custom touches are also on the cards at some point this year but all will be revealed I don't want to stray too far from standard as it's an original G40 shell.

Next up was a couple of parcels that looked like this....

New doors with A6 handles, remote locking, DTM mirrors and OEM electric windows

I just need to find somebody to spray them up, and tweak the rods for the handles a little as they aren't releasing the mechanism properly at the minute.

Can't wait to get them fitted

I agree, it does look better with the trims on. I'm trying to get hold of the door and rear quarter trims and then it'll all be going back on again :)

Bit of an update. Sold the electric window stuff, but still have the doors. Hoping to get everything booked in for a respray in the next couple of months.

I've now got a full arch trim set, so they'll be going back on as soon as I get hold of a rivet gun.

I took it off the road in November and got myself an A4 daily. It's been sat in my unit gathering dust, but now it's time to get it back in action! The charger is off to be rebuilt, and I'm going to be fitting a PPP subframe and FMIC later this month.

Hoping to get a few trackdays in this year, along with a possible trip to the ring. Bodywork is still the same as it always was, but I'm not too fussed at the minute

As for the doors, they should look sweet. i had a set in yellow a while ago i picked up off another G40 being broken but had to sell em :(

I need it. hopefully will cure the torque steerings got it at a bargain price too
