Sooo, got the arches rolled by Arch Enemy the other day, rolled and flared slightly means no more rubbing on the tyres poking out the arches.

Next i want to get some Audi TT pedals as i heard they fit and Swuede my roof lining to match the black fittings such as grab handles, rear view mirror and sun visors which i sprayed black. Pics soon.

Any advice for anyone who has done their roof lining black in swuede? thankss

Use a good Aerosol glue, i'd recommend 'Trim fix' and work from top to bottom spraying section by section and applying the saude to the headliner.

totally jealous.. been on the hunt for a black 3door GTI for ages and everyone I've looked at have been a right mess and still fetching £2500.

waiting to sort camber out then ill go lower, kinda like it at the height its at at the moment, means i can actually drive places unlike you!

Soo A little update of some progress, done a few bits here and there which tidy the car up a little :)

Audi TT Pedals:

Got some double cup holders instead of the standard coin tray which annoyed me when change drops behind it:

As for under the bonnet, been spraying some parts Red which tidy the engine bay up and looks much smarter than it did before:

Coolant Bottle Cap and Cambelt cover

Power Steering fluid Cap

Heat Shield

And a quick polish all round and the wheels off for a good clean and wax :)

Next to mums old Lupo GTi :)

Hopefully get some more done before Edition38, still want to re-trim my headlining swede and finish the engine bay off, comments welcome as usual :)

Unfortunately had a bit of a crash last night, woman drove into the side of me coming round a dark corner didn't see her but claiming it was her right of way, anyway heres some photos of the damage and need to get it fixed asap before Edition 38 :( FML!

Not really what you want when youve put so much time and effort into her, glw getting it sorted

If you ever have a crash, take loads of pictures of it from your phone.

I've been in this situation, was my right of way, they wrote my car off and theirs was ok, but they claimed for everything in the book and managed to win, if i had some pictures i could have probably won since pictures don't lie :(

But sucks to see such a nice car in a bad way dude, good luck with getting it all sorted

I put no where near as much effort into my old polo but to have someone write it off then claim that it was all my fault was horrible :/

It looks to me as if you could just buy a new door and pull the dent out on the rear wing, or is there more to it than meets the eye?

i'm not sure as theres inside sil damage so the door doesnt close properly and depends about the rear quater, taking it to a body shop soon

thanks dude :) don't really know cause i couldn't be bothered to work it out haha, and no i didn't get it fixed in time, only got it back yesterday all fixed up :)

So After the crash the car was looking like this >

And got it back from the body shop last night all fixed up with a new door and ready to go again :)

Little Edit on the iPhone :)

Gave the wheels a good clean, wax and shine :)

And sprayed my top mount caps gloss black as well as the rear badge back mounting >

Turned Out like this >

And finally gave the car a good hoover and Lightly sanded and cleaned the TT Pedals as they were pretty mucky!

Oh and by the way, got a window motor/mechanism and door handle if anyone needs it>

All fixed! No better feeling! :-)
