E-mailed PVW with a few pics of the car a while ago and some details, got a reply today offering to run it in the Built Not Bought section :)

Need to get back to them but hopefully get the car in the mag soon!

Finished Lacquering the top caps this evening and got them in looking smart :) Got a few little photos just as it was getting dark because i was bored haha :L

Engine Bay is now almost finished, just wanting an R8 Oil cap to finish things off :) But happy overall with how it looks and very clean!

Some good and bad updates, got myself a Momo team steering wheel 280mm with some bday money looks rather nice :)

By the WAY, removing the original VW steering wheel is a complete nightmare and we ended up sawing it off, the little clips behind were impossible to release!

But eventually got it fitted and it looks great, feels weird at first as it is tiny but really fun once you get used to it!

Finally sorted the rear camber out so no more scrubbing but the fronts i cannot seem to stop!

Can anyone assist me turning the air bag light off!???

Taking it down to the Phirm next week if i can get hold of some tyres which is proving difficult at the moment! 195/45/14s no one seems to stock!

Your airbag warning light might be the clock spring behind the steering wheel you can get them for £129 from VW.

More then likely is that because you did replace the steering wheel and may have triggered the warning light to come on..

My mate had the same problem then he had it fitted then restarted the CPU and its all gone now!

I really love the GTi alloys they look real smart, if you hate them so much il take them off your hands! :p

Thinking about selling the car as i fancy an upgrade, sensible offers will be accepted but looking at around £2,250 with GTi BBS wheels or £2,750 with Borbet T alloys (new front tyres will be sorted) to start with. The Car is coming up to 105,000 miles but had a recent service, oil change etc. Runs really well haven't ever had any big problems. Sitting on JOM coilovers, just fitted a Momo Team 280mm steering wheel and the interior is seriously MINT, new leathers with heated front seats, climate controll + aircon, double cup holders, red colour coded engine bay. DubMiester UK Legal Pressed Number Plates. All the usual GTI spec bits and bobs, nice looking car that has been well looked after and good money spent on it.

Just stuck 6 Months TAX on it and MOT'd till February.
