Look nice man

look nice! where they are pro refurb or diy? started doing mine, heres what i started with

got one wheel done, just have 3 centres left to prep and paint. they arent perfect, but will do for the time being! they were so bad, that they really would benefit from having the centres bead blasted, but alas funds are too low to shell out 60 pounds on having someone bast sand at them for half an hour!

The RXIIs on my mums Golf Cab look just like this ^^^.

The centres were sprayed, and i polished up the lips myself to save on having someone doing them, £80 spent in total. They were in a state when i got them but it was just cosmetic. Nice effort since you DIY yours. You going to lacquer your lips or just keep polishing them every month?

nah wont be lacquering them. just give them a wipe over with some megs metal polish. had a set before and they were fine with this method. the thing with lacquer is that once it gets chipped, water gets in and ruins the finish in no time

Got them looking really nice. Need to do mine when I cba, winter killed them

These are few pics of the car after a quick wash and polish up, can even see myself in the photos hehe. Car has come up a dream with a new lick of paint and some fresh wheels:-)

I would get your wheels done asap for summer if i was you. i was going to wait soo glad i didnt.

Could do with lowering it!!!! ahaha I'm guessing that is on your list, also painting your drums and calipers black possibly to make it low key???

nice job on the wheel refurb though mate!!!!

Yes they are all on my list, but the lowering is going to have to wait till i can afford modifyed insurance being 18, but the painted calipers are already done red, but the rear drums would look horrible red so thinking black for them( i already have some spare paint in garage). Smooth rear bumper and repaint the tailgate as the pain has decided to crack and the clear coat in some places has dissapeared. Got some locking valve caps (chrome) and some aero wipers to put on once i get chance. little project really.

got mine on my car now too
