hi everyone!

I'm liam and I am 17 and I've been on this site for a few months now and I've decided to make a progress thread.

I have a 1.0 red polo 6n2 W reg and love the euro look so i though id have ago myself.

First of all I bought these:

g60 steels with a decent stretch.

I've also fitted my new honeycone grill.

I was very pleased with the colour coded interior.

then I decided to wrap my roof matt black and go abit made on making a few stickers as I do it for a living ahha.

I also had my sub and amplifier added and a new stero.

I wanted my badges black when i found come carbon fibre vinyl, this is what it looks like:

My next plans are to get some coilovers and drop it 80mm-90mm and hopefully get a bonnet bra once pay day arrives.

It didnt cost me anything because I'm a signwriter, but i think its around 60 pound. cheer mate =)

Gave you a nod at Bingley traffic lights the other day. I was in the big green mean vaccum cleaner :-)

Needs dropping big time but it is a very tidy looking motor.

Remove a couple of stickers (just keep some choice ones and if you can make your own come up with some original/cool stickers) and don't put a bra on it and it will be perfect.

Give me a shout sometime and pop over in it so i can have a scout round it. You obviously live just off the double mini roundabouts next to nabwood.... and yes i am a stalker

Ahha yeah! Love that car it's mint! I shouted 'nice car' but you must not of heard me, Yeah anytime mate, and I think you live in the new estate near the spar? I saw you car parked up there ahha. I agree I want to keep it clean, I'll put some more stickers on in different places, but it's addictive!

My opinion:

The bodywork looks UNBELIEVABLY shiny aha.

I'd be tempted to take off some of the stickers as i can tell they're not genuine, as well as having 3 fake wheelwhores stickers :p.

But, as said, the body of this is amazing, the red is RED and shiny and the black is BLACK and shiny.

Wheels look G but you need to drop it!

I'd be tempted to take off some of the stickers as i can tell they're not genuine, as well as having 3 fake wheelwhores stickers :p.

But, as said, the body of this is amazing, the red is RED and shiny and the black is BLACK and shiny.

yeah i was going to remove them and start again with them, i make these stickers at work so i try do my best replicating them.

ahha i havn't even buffed since i got it so i got lucky.

thanks and yeah I'm ordering some jt coilovers today but i think i might need some spacers on my wheels.

Yes I am Actully, I've asked Phil about it and looked up feedback on them, it saves me 40 quid compared to the JOM coilovers, so I'm getting phils coilovers =) can't wait! Been waiting ages for my polo to be dropped!

so i ordered my coilovers from philj and got them fitted yesterday!

i got it lowered 80mm and removed most of the stickers and two rear mudflaps as i dislike them.

i know its isnt slammed to the ground but its enough for my liking.

nope there not but i was tempted to.

Just think you need to change the stance a bit, put the front down a little bit more, and it will be sitting so nice.

But other than that it looks so sick!

Hopefully the coilovers should settle that little bit more in a week or two, but I think to achive it being lower you have to take the helpers out. I could get a gti splitter to make it look lower.

My wheels are not wide at all, 5.5j I think so I tried my best to get a stretch.

I don't think my side stripe comes off without leaving holes unlike the 6n which is just glued on.

Do you live round the bingley area? I'm sure I've seen you driving about? Looks tidy and clean, red cars stand out nicely!
