For sale is a polo gti engine AVY code. This engine has had alot of time spent on it with the intention of using it in a mk3 polo. unfortunately due to other commitments i do not have time to finish this project.

the engine has had:

# Fully ballanced bottom end i.e pistons and rods to within 0.1g of the lightest one

# Dynamic balanced crank with lightweight, yet still lightened early mk3 flywheel

# Ported and polished head

# Reshaped ports to remove injector cut outs

# Custom made inlet manifold to suit cbr600 throttle bodies but should fit carbs from a similar model bike

# Converted to run 36-1 Ford EDIS Ignition

# Nearly new gti clutch and pressure plate

# Short ratio GT gearbox

# engine mount adaptor plate to suit earlyer model polo's

# new cambelt and tensioners inc the small belt

# ran for approx 2 hours in total not even done running in miles

with the engine you will also get

gt gearbox

throttle bodies

edis ignition setup

all associated wiring to get it going, unfortunatly i cannot let the megasquirt ecu i have go with this engine.

if you split the engine, give me a price on the bottom end lad :)

i really dont want to break it because as it stands it could be bolted in plugged up to a megasquirt ecu and run.

not a chance sorry mate way too much money gone into it to let it go for that little. this engine will put out more bhp than a mildly tuned g40. You try buying one of those for anything near close to 800. I have got recipts for 200 just on the machining work for the bottom end!! not taking into accout all the gaskets, rings and everything else to rebuilt it. then there is the head work ontop of that.

How much would you idealy want for this? and want do you get included with it?

HI there i just saw the engine your selling in the for sale section. Its not about buying it I'm afraid, its about fitting one.

I've been reading bits and pieces that its quite hard to fit and that the sump hangs to low but as you've had it fitted.

Whats needed to fit one or is it the same as afh, id also be using standard injection
