Hello all

Never had to post much on here as a quick search and you guys have it covered. However I have a mate of mine bringing his polo round tomorrow. I had a quick look at it in a car park as it sound horrendous and from what I could see it looks like the front section just as it curls up the front of the bay has come away from the larger cylinder (silencer/ converte) that it located behind the front grill?

Just wanting to know if this is a common fault or some thing you guys have seen before. The car is a 02 so I think that is a 7n or mk6 in old money?? (please correct me if I'm wrong) any way any help on removal/ refitting. Or a nice picture/ diagram of how the section all fits together would be great.

Also the more I look into this. The more the ,cylinder thing I'm talking about thinking it was some kind of pre silencer, may just be the bottom of the manifold
