‎hey there

i want to do a rolling road test and thought id put it up on here see if any of you lot was up for a meet and a rolling road test all in one, not gunna set a date as yet want to see how many people are interested.

if theres a few of us we could set the date so we could convoy to an all dubs meet which is local and is held every fortnight, also know a very good photographer who i can drag along to capture the day in photos.

2WD Power run specialists based in the midlands, Just off the A5 and M69. £30 for 2 runs and a printout! Every Sunday 9am onwards, LE10 3BY.

let me know what you lot think

thanks daz

Can a lowered car get on the rollers there?

I couldn't get on at Aldon, they were worried it'd smash the front spoiler when they came off the gas.

I don't really want to remove my front trim...

Spoke to the main person there an he said he hasn't had to turn anyone away and he had a slammed lupo on the rollers last month they had to take the bumper off but got it on, I'm gunna head over once I get my car back off the insurance this week

Nobody else interested in this don't have to go on the rollers would be nice to have a meet and a drive round.

Balls.. I'm guessing this is only 2WD?

Would've been well up for it if I could've got mine on, I'm not sure what the score with haldex is, in theory is there's no slip the rears won't engage but I'm not sure I'd want to find out what happens if they do engage!

EDIT: I was being thick, haldex can be disabled by removing a fuse!

ye its only 2wd but if you can disable the rear then your sorted most all-wheel drive cars have to have a disable switch to the rear for mot tests. so have a little look into this as my mate has a gt4 that he wants rolling roaded and were looking at the same issue
