Alright Guys,

here for sale I have my CBR 600 Bike carbs and Inlet manifold, bought these of a mate but haven't got round to fitting them and are just sat at my girlfriends.

these came off of a 1.3 8v mk1 golf so i believe they are set up and ready for a 1300 polo :) or close to it. bike carbs are in good condition and have all four of the red air horn looking plastic parts, what looks sweet!

also with this sale is the inlet manifold what came with these carbs, not the neatest but works just as they should, i have painted them black, has a breather pipe on it also with rubbers and clips :)

Price wise I'm gunna say £80 and whatever postage is if needed.

What do you do for choke? How does it run in the winter on bike carbs? I'm just about to get hold of a GT cam so will the electric facet pump be up to the job in my mk2 1.3? cheers man.

haha sorry man, yeah manifold pics will be up shortly, gotta locate my lead for my phone to computer, but as for your questions I'm not 100% sure, I'm pretty sure once set up correctly, in winter they are fine running on carbs, but as for the choke i am unsure, also a GT cam should be fine with a facet fuel pump, but a bike carb conversion will need a fuel regulator also :)

Has this sold

selling due to needing funds :( and dont think i would gain much performance without more upgrades but the money i would spend, i could do a GT conversion, and also body work needs abit of work haha,

But its a bit shitty of him to advertise something with half the photos and then put up a blurry out of focus one like the photo above and then sell it to someone else when I've called first refusal and he's promised to get a decent photo up..

yeah its missing, i have them now on my mk2, power is amazing but not having the choke is sooooo gayyyy
