dont see ARBs come up for sale often but you could scrappy hunt. i dont know if a mk3 one would fit, but i can see no reason why not.

picked up some vwII caliper from a 6n for £15 :D

also spent some well earned dollar in GSF on:

brembo vented and grooved discs

greenstuff pads

goodridge braded hoses

new top mounts

a new track rod end as it was knackered

2 new bottom arms

need to get 2 front bearings and 2 new hubs, as i have got everything else new so i thought why not! :)

also got some coilovers of ebay :)

Are you after a 5spd ARB chief? I have one going

And regarding some of your questions above;

Some late mk2s were fitted with 5spd ARBs as standard. Yours won't have

Your fuel system will be fine, but you will need to sort a pump as your's is driven by the cam

You need the blue oil sensor, but just earth the yellow one (high pressure) or the buzzer goes off

You shouldn't need new hubs mate as they don't wear. I'm not even sure you can buy them

GSF do them for £21 each i think it was.. so i will prob get them :) i have a facet solid fuel pump.. so the standard 6mm lines will be ok, dont need to upgrade to 8mm ones?

from what i can work out my car currently only has one oil sensor.. any knowledge on this (its an early 1.1 mechanical head)

Have you got a picture of your oil sensor wiring? I had a mech head in mine. But forgot to take pictures :?

Gsf do hubs? I really dont see why you'd need them, but it's up to you. When I has mine apart, they were totally fine. Your fuel lines will be fine yes

If your after an ARB, let mr know

I have vwII calipers now, along with brembo docs and green stuff pads. Is there an upgrade I can do with out putting a servo in to the master cylinder? Is a mk2golf gti one any better etc? Which one would be best, if any.. Thanks guys?? :)

Wow, wonderfull base  Niagara green is beautiful and so rare (only on 82')

VERY nice second that on the colour front!! what wheel and tyre size are you running? and what 60/40 kit did you use? i really like the stance you motor has. thanks for the info.

my wheels are 13x6 ats cups, with 165 55 13 tyres on, a little stretch in the tyre wall but nothing major.. currently 80 on the front and has 1 40mm lowering spring on the drivers side :p ( couldnt get the bottom bolt off on the passenger side :( ) going on for coilovers all round on thursday so should be decked then!
