hi, as the title says I'm new to posting on the forums, just got myself an mk4 polo 1.4 8v. ill be honest picked it up already lowered with wheels and interior as it is, however I'm gradually getting stuff done in a black and white colour scheme (it was all black) let me know what you think. needs a bit of rust doing on the door and rear arch when i get the time or find someone doing it cheap enough also when i can afford it i'd ;love to drop a g40 engine in it, anyway specs atm are.

lowered 120mm all round on coilovers (yes speed bumps often cause me to go the long way round)

15" ATS cups on stretched tyres

Gti front and rear bumper

Leather interior (i forget what from though)

Cat 1 viper alarm with remote start

I'm usually driving about colchester and to from work in chelmsford down the A12 aswell and the ardleigh/manningtree/harwich way so give me a wave/flash

yeah, tbh it PROPER good clean, i just haven't had the time, possible this weekend ill get it all cleaned up but it picks up more dirt so easily. I'm still undecided about the white splitter mainly did it because it emphasis' the car instead of it all being black and blending into one with the road at night :p

cool beans, i may not have the white splitter much longer :p the gf kept telling me it didnt look right but you know how it is, once its done you dont like to cave!

Yeah maybe put the splitter back to black, leave the white badge and you could get some clear side repeaters to add to the white and black theme?

Or paint your petrol cap white?

i was thnking maybe a white door handles, but I'm not sure, ill have to get it photoshopped. its got smoked repeaters on at the moment, guna have a look around on the old ebay see what i can find.

if it was my car i would get rid of stickers, paint badges and splitter black, mk5 rear lights, shorter bee sting aerial, colour code door handles. :)

Will the mk5 lights fit straight in without missing anything?

Sure we had to drill some holes out bigger and swap some wires round. Think theres a guide in the FAQ

Not a fan of the splitter, but i think you could carry the theme on with the wheels. Where the inner bits are black, do them white. Will be subtle and iv never seen a set of cups any other colour besides black or red.

6n2/mk5 rear lights are overused and generally horrid, valver lights are muuuuccchhh nicer IMO.

yeah i found the guide for the mk5 lights, got a pair ordered, also respraying the splitter back to black now I've proved a point to the other half and got a badgeless grill to go on. was guna sell it but now I'm raising it and going to change the alloys possibley to bbs or bbs reps with fatter tyres, seen a couple of sets on ebay.going to put the ats cups aside untill all the road works done near my work(6 months) as i dented one the other day and they will look dumb with it raised up to get over the speed bumps on the diverson
