Some nasty little buggers broke into my car a few months ago and in the process destroyed my passenger side lock. Planning on going to a scrap yard to see if I can get my hands on a cheap replacement, just wondering if anyone could give me a few directs on how to replace the exterior handle?

My polo is a mk 7 (9n3).

Open up the door, look on the side, where the door catch is, there should be a hole in the door, with a Torx screw in it.

IIRC the size is 25? but dont hold me to that.

Start loosening off the screw but dont take it all the way out, every now and then pull on the outer handle, (where the actually lock should be) and it will simple pop out when you are pulling it.
