Got the tyres sorted at last! Got the new mirrors on too.

Still got a fair amount to do to it. Re-wrap the wiring loom as some of it is pretty fooked, fit the arch trims and get some new sill trims (if I can find any for sale!), give it a proper good clean, put some more red tape on the rear bumper, change the exhaust over, fit the polybushes and ARB blocks, and get some new bits for it!

Waterpump has just started leaking as well, so that will need replacing this weekend!

Yeh, they are side mount only. Unsure whether to use a bolt in subframe or get some rails welded in. Either way they will be fixed position. Unsure on whether to get harnesses or not as well, as its my daily driver....

Cheers for the comments guys, spending all my wages on this at the mo it seems!

i know how you feel, over a months wages on a set of wheels, crazy! ;)

You'l find harnesses in a daily driver will be annoying, cant reach forward very easily

Yeh, thats my thinking. Just dont think standard inertia belts would be too safe with buckets, I've heard they grip the seat more than the person in the seat....

Lovely example mate, love the direction this is headed.

Got them off a well known motorsport company.

I'm not telling you what they are as I don't want everyone copying me lol.

Fitting polybushes this weekend at some point, think I'm gonna have to burn the old fuckers out!

soo beautiful man, can't explain how much I love it with those wheels!

Looks sweet mate keep up the nice work

Picked the seats up, bought some sidemounts, subframes and harnesses and got them in the car!

If anyone is thinking about getting OMP subframes to mount buckets be prepared for some modification to make them fit well! As standard they were far too high, my head was touching the roof. Cut them down a fair amount, drilled some new holes and they fit spot on now! Well nice to drive in, has given me alot more confidence in the car, can focus on driving now instead of stopping myself from sliding around!

Harness is a bitch for daily driving though! Think I'm going to get a harness bar welded inbetween the rear strut towers, having the harnesses bolted into the standard rear seatbelt mounts is abit sketchy, the angle seems abit steep....

Sorry about the poor quality, phone pictures!

Haha. I don't do them up until I'm off my drive, can't turn around to see where I'm reversing otherwise! Pulling off of sliproads is also a bitch, well hard to check blind spots lol.

Cheers for the nice comments, means alot! Have put a fair amount of time into this! Gonna start saving for a G40 motor now, and perhaps a rollcage.

Arch trims to go on this week, pending sill strips arriving (been waiting for weeks for them!)
