i must be a actual retard in doing insurance quotes because i have been getting ridiculous quotes for a 1L !!! I'm 17 though , can any one mention some good insurance companies and tips on how to get it lowwwww

Id go direct to companies, when I was 17 using comparison sites never found anything under about £6k lol

Pop the parents on the insurance, I'm looking at a 1990 1.3 Saloon right now and the insurance drops by £500. Try all the different Comprehensive/Third Party options and try telling them that it's kept on the street/drive/garage.

I'd be surprised if you find anything under £1800 for your 1L.
