VW polo 6N Harlekin

Featured Replies

So here we have a Harlekin polo. VW only did these for one year and made just under 3000 of them which only 200 were RHD. So here we have a very very clean RHD original version.

The car has undergone quite a lot of work over the last 12 months. It has had a full external respray, been lowered on JOM Coilovers and had a very nice set of Porsche Teledials fitted as well.

Now the good bits, the paint is in excellent nick, the car has been driven daily but it's stored in the garage when not in use. The car was painted just over a year And the paint it still ace, it does have a paint chip hear and there bit like I said it's a daily.

The JOM coilovers are less than 10 month old, the Teledials sit on Machined adaptors. Also the tyres are in great nice with plenty of tread all-round. The car also comes with the original harlekin alloys, for winter use?

All of the electrics in the car work including the front electric windows and wing mirrors. It has a jvc removable front head unit and factory speakers.

It still has the og harlequin interior including harlekin steering wheel and gear stick, which is in really clean condition bar one small tear in the drivers seat that has been stitched and is barely noticable.

Also valuable is the pressed metal number plate P502 HVW (Harlekin VW).

The car has the og 1.4i petrol engine which is in superb condition and has never let the misus down, the milage is 185k. Sounds a lot but the engine had work done when first bought, (idleing problem) and has'nt been driven hard.

The bad bits,

The teledials alloys have had quite a lot of kerbing but I have refurbed them so they don't look as bad now. The wheels are powdercoated ferrari grey and have metal pressed centre caps.

There are a couple of stone chips but I literally mean a couple.

The drivers seat has a small tear about 2 inches long that we have stitched up bit as unsaid above it's hard to notice.

That's is for the bad bits

Tax runs out end of may MOT runs out end of July. The mot won't be an issue as this car has been regularly serviced and maintained.

Looking for £1900 Ono for the car. It stands a lot more than that. But the car wern't bought as an investment.

Car's located in sunderland Tyne and Wear.

Any Questions just Hola!!

Isn't it harlequin? haha. Grammar nazi for life.

and also i know that this is a genuine harlequin, however you could buy 6n with 60,000 on the clock in good condition for like 500-600 pound, have a full respray in harlequin for like 1200 and then you have a harlequin polo with a lot less miles for around the same money. Being multicoloured doesnt make it a hidden treasure.

first off, thanks for that jon. secondly, if you or anybody else want to make your own "Harlekin" (photo included for spelling) then please go for it. But just remember, that when people look inside it at shows or meets and start laughing cause you have yourself a FAKE Harlekin with valver seats and the latest momo wheel dont come on here bitching about people been cruel and disrespectful about your FAKE Harlekin. And last off i never claimed it to be a "hidden treasure", just that its a rare clean polo!
