A chance to own a rare and now classic BMW 635CSi Highline with only 131,000 miles from new.

Electric sliding sunroof, Highline equipment, Full Leather interior (seats, door cars, centre console, dashboard, headlining, parcel shelf), 17" Alpina replica alloys, Cruise control, Rear window blind, Memory electric seats, Air conditioning, Electric mirrors, Rear spoiler, Alarm with Remote central locking, Original Blaupunk Cassette player, Wooden gear selctor, Motorsport steering wheel, BMW mudflaps.

Exterior

Finished in Cirrus Blue with the Sand Beige Leather. The paint finish is in good general order with some rust at the front wings and surface rust at the rear arches. The car has had all welding underneath performed to a high standard and is now on a solid base.

Interior

The lovely sand beige leather and has been looked after well for a car of this age. In overall general good condition, there are no rips or tears as can be seen on other examples of these cars. The Mtech steering wheel and wooden gear selector are optional extras and quite rare to find, they give it the extra bit of class the car deserves.

Engine and Automatic Gearbox

The car has only covered 131,211 miles in its 23 years at an average of 5700 miles per year. The car has been regularly serviced and MOT'd every year despite the low mileage and comes with a huge file of history to back this up. The engine runs very smoothly and the automatic gearbox changes up and down without you noticing.

I regularly return 30mpg with this car on a motorway run which proves the engine is running in prime condition.

Wheels

The car originally came with cross spoke metric alloys, however as you may know the tyres of which are notoriously expensive and hard to come by. Some nice 17" period Alpina replica alloys have been added. They do have some curbing but nothing terrible. The tyres are in good condition and have covered approximately 10k miles.

Owner History

Bought as a company car by the MD of an electronics firm in 1988, this car has only 5 owners from new. To stand testament to the car the 4th owner Mr Wright owned it for a total of 15 years.

Officialy (according to the dvla) the car has 7 owners, however the history file can prove that Mr Wright (who owned the car for 15 years prior to myself) moved twice and at the time the dvla stupidly recorded this as a change of owner.

THE BAD BITS

Unfortunately its not a pristine or immaculate condition car or else the price tag would be closer to the £10k mark.

As with all classic cars it needs some work (I know as I have 2 of them!)

Front wings - these have been repaired and will last a few years but do let the look of the car down. I have 2 replacement wings available at cost.

Air Conditioning - This needs regassing as it comes out warm.

Rear Windows - The motors have ceased as they were never used!

Please do not expect a showroom condition car, read the advert and view the pictures carefully. I'm happy to discuss at length any concerns you may have an of course would welcome viewings.

During the winter months the car was covered with a proper all seasons car cover.

This is a lovely car which I have enjoyed owning immensely however I now need to consolidate my finances for my future and cannot afford to maintain 2 classics.

I had to own one of these iconic cars during my lifetime but now its time for someone else to enjoy it.

The car owes me approximately £6000 but I realise its value with the work required is much less.
