What is your compulsary excess cost if you are 25 or over??

Mines 350 I thought that was a bit steep.

I'm also trying to find an insurer/broker who will beat their renewal quite, but finding it impossible!!

Adrian Flux beat my Brentacre renewel and had a lower excess (£250 Vs £400). I negotiated with Brentacre and brought them down to £15 cheaper with the same excess. Not a huge win, but saved a lot of faffing about changing insurance companies.

Good news

i rang brentacre first, then flux, knott, sky etc and a few others, nobody else could get anywhere near brentacre with the same terms, and most of them were quoting with highway! brentacre must just have good terms with them :)

I think I must've said or done something to piss Brentacre off, I used to be insured with them several years ago - but these days they're nowhere near competitive on either of my cars.
