I'm pimpin', rolling on porsche goods in a polo :p

my new wheel

DSC02012.jpg

testing to see what it looked like but it wouldnt fit on, the spline on the polo was to big. so did some research and found out they just come off. theres a big spline adapter over a small spline.

DSC01988.jpg

spline off. used a chisel and a hammer, didnt have a bearing puller to hand lol

DSC02020.jpg

went on like a glove.

DSC02018.jpg

DSC02019.jpg

there was a savage squeak coming from the wheel. had a lil butchers and it was the indicator cancel thing, so just trimmed about 3mm off it and the squeak was gone

DSC02027.jpg

old handles

DSC01995.jpg

new handles 8-)

DSC01996.jpg

had to change the barrel over and change the mechanism that pushes the leaver to open the latch for the door. the mechanism was easy, just a lil pin holding it in. i had to modify the chamber were the barrel sits because some of the porsche handle was in the way, so chopped it off.

fitted and working :)

.

well we took out the original seat guide and yeah just welded 2 bars in and drill the 4 holes in the bars and bolt them down. took about 30 minutes per seat.
