From vag com I've got this code come up

Does anyone know the location of the temprature sender ? , some one mention it before looked the item number up in haynes manual and it as diffrent so I'm stumped with that one.

I've also ordered this from the last post not sure if its correct -

I also got this (i think its incorrect though)

Volkswagen Audi Coolant Temperature Sender 059919501A

hey I'm sure the coolant temp sensor youve ordered will be fine for the car, and I'm not 100% on this but the sensor itself is normally situated on the right handside of the engine (passanger side) into the block close to the side of the manifold.

Ahh sweet , thats the bit i started to take off aswell! thought it was wrong so i done it all backup what an arse

When i figure it out ill post it up (with pics) Hopfully this thred will be indexed on search engines
