can highly recommend these as an option when fitting speakers in the standard speaker locations.

They fit perfectly all holes line up to existing mounts and sound impressive for the size of them, lots of low end capabilities i hadnt expected. should sound even better when they bed in.

They look amazing, 200w is impressive given it's smaller than a 13cm speaker.

But i only want one. For the dash. So if you're considering the same,i'll go halves with you.

will be thinking about a third for the front in a month or so, i'll let you know when I'm buying if you like.

what does a pair of them cost?

I've got JBL 6x4s in the back of my mk3 and I'm really impressed with the sound from them :)

Yeah how much ben!

£50 on ebay!

Good to see others becoming available.

Infinity (think thats what there called) dropped theres, leaving JBL the only decent brand making speakers in this size.

I had some of the JBL ones in mine, got rid of them now as i think the positioning of them is pointless unless your sat in the back.

yeah,id go for that. Got a shelf sorted with adequate power for the background if nothing else, and other ideas for the doors (MK2 owners gonna love my OEM find),but my head unit gives me more options and i can see the dash one bringing some sound right into that hole where the front sides' upset the balance,so you need to give it some extra passenger side to make it sound even from the driver's seat. And that ruins it for the passenger.

One good channel in the middle would really sort that out.

whats this oem find then?

Thanks for sharing this, will certainly be looking into these as only one of the speakers in my bready is working.

I've fitted a couple of pair of these in polos and ibizas, holes all line up and they're not bad at 20W RMS.

For the price (£25) I really can't fault them! Frequency range is a lot better on the pioneers though so be worth stretching if you can afford/justify it

They'd be more OEM in a 2F if they fit,I've not fitted them yet but i'll get pics up when i have.

Bump to find out what the find is...

I've had JBL 6x4's in the stock location on my last 2 mk3's, can't beat them to be honest, they make a positive improvement!
