plans for now

  • new bonnet or repair and respray
  • coilovers
  • get tyres and fit alloys
  • build induction kit
  • give car a full service
  • dye or re-cover headling and interior

done so far

  • sprayed interior door handles satin black with gloss black inserts, and done the tweeters black
  • had to replace a leaking shock absorber
  • gti grille fitted
  • front badge sprayed gunmetal grey
  • bought a cheap set of wheels off here few months ago and refurbed them in rover gunmetal grey, looking back bbs alloys aren't the best to do you first refurb on due to the small spokes and triangles which are a pain to get old paint out of.

  • Author

hahaha to be fair i think getting hit by a lorry would write most cars off i did like that car

but yeah the polo is a much better car

cars looking good mate hope your going lower on the bbs wheels :) you are in need of a gti splitter :)

Scousa my man... You polo is looking alot better than the last time i saw it at purley tesco's a few weeks ago.

Have you sourced a bonnet yet?

I think you should just fill up all those ripples and get

the bonnet wrapped in sum mad cartoony vinyl

  • Author

cheers

yeah its getting there

the splitter is on my list along with a bonnet which hopefully I'm buying this weekend

hmm i want to go lower but when it was slammed on the steels it caught on the speed bumps but might go down just a lil more

if i get a new bonnet i might do that before i fit it just for a laugh

what design though?

tone do you still have some of that yellow tint about as i might buy some to do my fogs

Just get some random smiley faces, thousands of them

:smirk::drool::crybaby::nod::finger::retard::ninja::wasted::paranoid::puke::unibrow::angry: :p :disgust::doubt::roll::?: :!: :badgrin::evil: :-) :-(:-p:oops::cry::x:lol:8-):-o:shock: :-D

& Get someone to print them out on a big sheet of vinyl...

I've got loads of that yellow light vinyl left, you aint gotta give me nuffin for it.

Something like these, maybe?

  • Author

i don't know that's a bit too loud for me i would probably rip it off after a day

i like the smiley face one but wouldn't suit my car

ah cheers mate i need 2 10x10cm squares or a piece 20x10cm

i like the 1st smiley face one i might get something like that done on my car :)

what you doing about centre caps for wheels?

looks as if you have 2 different wheels in the pic mate?

looking sweet!, I've got an indigo 6n2 on one of them sets of bbs'

yellow fogs look unreal imo!

keep it up!

  • Author

cheers :-)

yeah the rears are oz and the fronts bbs

i bought some rj center caps but they didn't fit so I've got a set of standard steel center caps and was going to cut them to make them fit but now just going to wait till after winter and maybe get a set of rota's not sure yet

fogs look even better when lit up

Looking good mate, not sure what it is but the dark blue Polo's always seem to look really nice! You need to get some GTi fog surroundings and centre grills then it would sick from the front! Bought some for mine the other day..
