I dont know why the gtis dont fit properly ?? mine dont either

They don't fit in the above picture cause it's incorrectly fitted. Look at the difference in panel gap around the bottom of the light and the way its on the piss.. The far left of the headlight needs to be lifted and the right hand side could do with a slight lift too, then they'll line up with the bonnet properly too...

PS, black indicators look shit IMO, make the front end look tacky and cheap.

yeah I've fitted a new light since then it took a bit more cutting around so the ballast on the gti lights fit

I don't have black front indicators just smoked side ones but cheers for the feedback

Good to hear. The black indicators thing wasn't meant as a dig, i just saw the conversation mentioning them and didn't read it properly.

boring update but decided it was time to clean the coilovers and grease them up and fitted a new indicator

now just need to buy some wind deflectors, new wheels an get the exhaust sorted
