I've also been looking cos i quite want one but they seem to be non existent for the 6n :( ill keep looking or give up and make my own if I do ill tell yer, if you do find one would love to know where and how much. Don't care it doesn't make it faster cos I've got huge front seat bolsters and the gear stick hits the passenger seat in reverse and even first if the seat is forward, I want something like the mk4 golf has got

I did a real pikey job on mine and took to it with a hack saw when i was bored. Its really good fun to drive with now! :D only thing is, make sure you dont have the nob mounted on the bend in the rod, as it sits at a weird angel :)

just cut it down and fit a universal knob

i lifted the gator off and found a little adjuster thing that i fiddled with and seems to have taken that noddy amount of movement out of it, might have a go at cutting it and getting a better knob though if it works :)
