you'l have to go to a vw dealer so they can make your transponder in sync with your car

I noticed in a local cobblers the other day that they will cut you a key and set the transponder correctly for between £25.00 and £99.00, that's a heck of a difference so I'm not sure what model they refer to ( I just know that it would be my luck to need the £99.00 one!)

Regards.

Where do u live? Bring it to me at VW lol!

i'm in hemel hempstead,

no chance of reading the code via VAG com?

i've found a guy on ebay charging 25 quid if you supply the code

Thanks AJ

Most key merchants do it instore if they have electrical equipment, google it...

I did

Got my 6n2 key recoded and duplicated from scratch for £35, people charge for vw's dno y?

Phone round a few key places, id say pay no more than £40 quid, even if it means gettin you are own blanks (£10 from ebay)

Hope this helps...
