get rid?

it's a lot of stuff but the majority are things that'll probably take five minutes to fix. All except:

-nearside rear Vehicle structure has excessive corrosion, seriously affecting its strength within 30cm of body mountings [6.1.3]

-Offside rear Vehicle structure has excessive corrosion, seriously affecting its strength within 30cm of body mountings [6.1.3]

which to be honest unless the car is something special, time for scrap I reckon. Personally I don't think it's worth holding onto a bog standard 6n polo once the rot has set in.

scrap it and buy mine ha

haha thats nothing, i had 3 pages of fail on my mk2 coupe when i first bought it! the fail sheet is still covered in car muck, from when i was using it as my job list!

it's not standard haha

And dan, How much would you want?

Couldn't sell it mate stands me at too much. Took me along time to find one with out any rot in it too mate sorry. Send me a text i will do your welding at work next week dude. The rest of the work is simples mate

How has it failed on the drivers seat being insecure twice?

As said, apart from the welding, all pretty easy fixes.

no offence mate but how could you turn up to the test station with that many faults with the car and expect it to pass?

Haha jokes, send it to the scrapper!

Unless you can get the work cheap id say start shopping about for another.

I think it's only really 23 fails, as

-Drivers seat insecure [6.2.3]

and

-Offside front Drivers seat insecure [6.2.3]

are surely the same thing?

So..one down, 23 to go? :-)

Tip of the iceberg dude - rach's 200sx

Had 3 pages when i took my old rocco for MOT. But nearly all of them were to do with lights (E.g left front indicator not working, hazard lights not working on left front  ) and brakes all round.

Were your seats just four deck chairs placed inside the car?

This is what I was thinking..

Same goes for the headlights.. I mean how do you not realise your headlights are completely wrong and your seats aren't fastened in properly? you must have a sweet set of eyes..

Is this you?:

Just amazing how people will spend time and money on mods instead of the little bits that actually need doing.

Didn't you check over the car before you bought it and started to mod it?

I say break the parts you can and scrap the shell mate

My old moped went for it's mot it failed on 33 things then

They ended he test :L

sorry dude was it a 2cv having said that u must hve known most if not all of those faults

As said you cant have been unable to notice most of those things. If mine was like that i wouldnt even bother gettin it tested.

My advice is, cut your losses, and get an old skool polo. Theres not much point doing anything more with a rotten 6n.

i always check mine over regular, but have an mot check sheet to go through before taking it....had 2 mots and gone through both times with no advisories. usually check my lights and tyres etc every week. I'm scared of what some people drive on the road tbh!
