'Q' plates?

Featured Replies

A buddy is thinking of buying a 1986 Renault 4 (no accounting for taste!) which has been rebuilt on a 1990 chassis and is registered on a 'Q' plate. Do I understand correctly that this will make it difficult to insure? Are there any other drawbacks to the 'Q' plate? Thanks
