1.0L to 1.4 6n2 engine conversion

Featured Replies

i was just wandering if it was possible and how much hassle it would be to put a 1.4 6n2 engine in my 1.0 6n2 because i really can't deal with how slow it is tbh. so i was wandering if there was anyone out there who'd done it before and if you've got any advice, which would be much appreciated thanks :-)

For the amount of hassle with an engine chance, a 1.4 will still be slow tbh - unless you get a 100bhp model which are rare. best bet would be a 1.6 gti conversion :)

Yeah i know how you feel about the 1.0 ! there so slow. i was thinking a engine conversion to the 1.6 gti, but as the other person said 1.4 wouldnt be worth it mate

yeh i was thinking of the 1.4 because i think the insurance would be abit less if i declare it but would love a 1.6 gti in it :-) but i don't think the car would be able to take it with out alot of tuning
