I made a thread the other day asking if there are any alternatives to metal polish, so thought i would create this thread so you can share some of your hints or tricks with others hopefully saving money and time!

So if you know of any alternatives that can be used on/in/under a car then share! :)

why would you polish the underside of your car?

I was using the metal polish as an example, I'm saying if for example you found that something you use everday in your house could be used on a car, making it cheaper than buying specialist parts...

Hah, yeah but there was still a monumental amount of oil in there when i whipped the sump off
