Well the time has arrived to update this thread!

Quite alot has happened since writing on here last. I know some of you guys follow me on Instagram or on Facebook so you will see whats been going on and changes i have made! And it was good to meet some of you at edition 38!

Right anyway on with the updates.

After fitting the Air and the remote control system it was time to prep for editon and get the chassis notched so it actually sat right.

So this was the result after having the notch done :

We then decided it was time for editon38 Prep so out come the machine polisher. As they say you cant polish a turd but you of course can roll it in glitter!!

I had the side painted earlier on this year and it was a bit orange pealed so it was time to get the sand paper and wet flat it back to get rid of it

Then to follow it was time to polish it back up!

After hours and hours of cleaning and polishing we ended up with it looking a bit like this! :

I was pretty chuffed with it! I had been having some ongoing issues with the air ride at the time so i decided it was time to find out what the hell was causing it so off came the strut.

I think its a brilliant picture sums up how crappy 6n2's really are :) it turned out to be a bit of rubber stuck over the air inlet on the bag which was stopping one side going up!

Edition soon came round so here we were on the morning before excited like a little kid as normal!

I'm sure alot of you guys would of spotted us at edition we were right next to the bogs lol

Someone thought it would be clever to leave my car at full height in the show field!! i left the iPad on the back with the controls up! it would go up and down untill the tank ran out it scared so many people as they didn't know what was going to happen haha

I was also responsible for the live webcam from the show field i setup it all up and kept it running all weekend. I will hopefully get it to work even better next year!!

But this was by far my favorite picture from the whole weekend. There was a lot of banter going on between me a phil over the weekend but I'm not going to lie his car looked spot on considering none of us thought he was going to make it!

Since then i have lost the wheels of for winter and they are getting ready for a rebuild as one of the dishes got bent after running with low trye pressure.

i also modded the front bumper so i can run aired out all round! :) and then parked next to mates crapy old air cooled camper van :)

And thats about where we are now! I'm looking at 20vt quite alot now looking like its happening next year! i need to find a unit before doing much else!

Thats all for now!

Awesome

Superb car - fair play to you.

Thanks people. It looks like I'm going to order new front struts in the next couple of weeks.

I'm sick of the poor quality rayvern ones. So I'm going to get custom Airlift ones made up.

few small updates!

I've since ordered some Air Lift front struts from Low Standards Designs. They should be here in a couple of weeks.

I will have some Rayvern ones up for sale if anyone is interested! I'm also in the process of writing my own management. I'm now able to show the pressures on a LCD display using an arduino. The next phase is to feed the info back into the raspberry pi. Which in turn can control the solenoids and Display the into on my Phone.

Here are a couple of pics :

Also the OZ Turbos are being made to 7.5J on the front so i can tuck them :)

now this, is a tread I am keeping my eyes peeled on ;p

How much would you be looking for the front struts when you come to sell them?

also what management are you using to do it off your iPhone?

Looking for around £350 this comes with a spare bag too. (One thats on it is worn so brought a new one never fitted it they are £100 alone)

also what management are you using to do it off your iPhone?

I'm using a RaspberryPi with some code i wrote to control some relays.

Here is a couple of pictures -

And this is the 1st phase of the controls the Red ones are the masters and the others are interval set so "on" for 10 seconds etc.
