Insurance

Featured Replies

I just sold my 1.4 Quicksilver, I was insured fine on that. When I rang up Aviva today to get my quote renewed on my 1.4 Polo 16V they quoted me 7,000. I must admit, I'm 18 in a month and I have already one crash.. but they said its because its VW Polo not the litre or my crash that is making it go up?

WHY ARE VW'S SO EXPENSIVE TO INSURE?!

Are you sure it's not the fact that it's 100bhp?

I had a 1.4 8v and then a 1.4 16v, the latter was £300 more a year.

quality costs money

18 year old+100bhp=accident which means higher insurance

Yes its because its a VW! I sold my Audi 2.0 Tfsi quattro 200bhp insurance £1250 and bought a 1.4tdi polo 9n expecting cheap insurance deffinatley not £700 its got 60bhp if that.

Get a 1.3 GT instead, 75bhp plus its much lighter, with me recently passed and ncb its £2600 although I'm going to ring up again and haggle.
