  • "Copy"? Its putting wheels on a car not sitting an exam. I'm sure hundreds of people might have them on this car... You put them on for personal preference mate.

Cheers man! Got nothing on yours though, I have always loved g60 steels especially banded sets so I love your wheels more than mine :p I'll try and get some photos soon before she goes into winter

Well haven't been on here for a while but thought it was time for an update. (which is pretty pointless as nothing has really happened but the weathers so crap i've got nothing better to do)

So after attending a meet last week full on civics and cars that would look at home in a 2001 issue of max power  my friend asked me how my soft shitty paint was to which he rubbed it expecting it to mark and it didn't! So after 2 years of it being soft and marking and getting duller and duller it had finally cured! So that night home i went in excitement and bought a da polisher. Fast forward to friday which conveniently was my rest day, I spent 6 hours polishing the polo (and running her battery flat, ooppps) I finally have a shiny car!

That last picture makes it look really dirty :/ but this is because i drove it last night

Still learning how to use the polisher properly as i still have some swirl marks which i haven't had time to try and get rid of, ill save that for another day

Paintwork looks good buddy. What products are you using with your da? Compounds, wax's? The beading is cool :)

I just bought the menzerna package form cleanyourcar.co.uk. Gave it a good going over with 2300 and then with 4500 to try and get rid of the swirls. Which worked to an extent. And then I hand polished it with some 30 year old coloured polish I found in my garage. Haven't waxed it as I don't have any and not really sure where to start with wax's. But before the summer I'll give it a proper going over and buy some wax
