WANTED: VW Polo 9N/9N3 1.9 Diesel TDi

Featured Replies

Looking for a polo 9n or facelift 9n3 to replace mine, with the 1.9 Diesel TDi engine. If you have one you might sell, lemme know!

Requirements:

Under 60000 miles on the clock

Full Service History

No more than 3 owners

Not overly modded (I want to get insured on it remember...)

3 Door

General good condition

No major accidents/not written off

I'm looking to spend between £4000 to £5000 for the facelift, and nearer to £3000 for the 9n. This one on gumtree sums it up (I've spoken to the guy, the location should say Preston, 4 hours from me!): nice one on gumtree

I live in Essex, IG6 and go to uni in Reading, Berkshire, RG2. If you're within 3 hours drive of either, lemme know what you got!

I'm also selling my 1.2 54 Polo, so if you're looking to downsize to a smaller engined car maybe we can work out a deal ;)Here's mine for sale

Thanks!

Actually i found the same car on autotrader, same photos, from a dealer, just under £7000. Thought the gumtree one was a scam, so I called the dealer to find out, but he said it was his ad too, thought he'd try gumtree, hence mistakes in the listing; first time using it. After a chat with him, I gather he's trying to be a dealer, but he's a bit of an idiot, and is trying to get rid of a car he can't sell (it was overpriced on autotrader). And of course now it's under priced on gumtree! I reckon the car's ok, but the man's a div. Either way, one owner would be perfect, but that would be two owners, him and a dealer, and I'll only buy private. I don't mind a car coming from a dealer, as long as someone else has had it for a year or two first. That way they get stuck with fixing any problems!
