Peanut the Polo is for sale.

Peanut is our 1 litre Polo. He was born in 2000 (X reg) and has 70k on the clock. He has 1 previous owner and is in really good condition.

Being an 'e' spec, he is a pretty simple car and is easy too look after. He has power steering making him a breeze to drive around town and his nippy little 1.0 litre engine while economical, keeps him up to speed with other traffic, even on the motorway where we drive him everyday to work and back. He also has ABS.

He had a service back in December time in which his spark plugs, oil, fuel, air and pollen filters were all changed.

He has also just had an oil change, a gear box oil change and new rear wheel bearings this month.

He has just been taxed so this expires in October 2011 and his MOT expires on 3 December 2011.

He flew through his last MOT without any advisories.

He has genuine VW mats which were purchased in November 2010 so are still like new. We've also added genuine VW in dash cupholders.

He has a few stone chips on the bonnet which you can understand with an 11 year old car and he also has 2 dints one to each near-side wheel arch but we don’t even notice these. We were told when we bought him that they would be easy to rectify but did not get around to it.

If you think you can give him a home, then let us know. He is a perfect little car, reliable, low fuel consumption, cheap insurance, ideal as a first car.
