So I've had my polo for 2 weeks now... still not taxed so just sitting on my drive just pottering around in my old car for now.. but thought I would start my build thread....

Here's how she looked when I picked her up

Then I got to work on the little details... black badges, removed the coupe badge, flatblade front wipers, and rear (eventually when I pop to halfords and get it ) Pin-striped the bumpers, and gave the engine bay a clean! :-)

I've removed the door trims... but as per usual they leave the most time consuming impossible glue.. so I've ordered a toffee wheel to get it off!

On the way next week... clear side repeaters, clear front indicators... no more orange then once my car is sold (hopefully this week)... 60/40 philj kit, ats classics... :-D

Thats the plan!!

I'm constantly on here looking for inspiration and its going well... couldn't be happier with my Polo!!

It got steam cleaned before I brought it... and previously been garaged... but I've just used autoglym on the engine, wiping it down and lots of elbow grease. :-)

on both... I just used the engine cleaner and wiped them down so all the dirt and grease was off. I think the fact it was looked after before me helps it.. unsure if autoglym bumper stuff will work on the plastics to bring them back though!

Thought I'd do an update on my polo! Had it for a month now, and loved every second of it :-) What's new since the last update...

• Clear repeaters
• Smoked indicators
• Sprayed steelies
• Lowered 80/60... although annoyingly 80/80 so higher at the front :(
• De-wipered rear

I think thats it really so far, got a full service done as well, new everything really so running real nice now, couldnt be happied! busy few weekends... not much chance to do anything this week as one of my mates picked up an 88' Jetta so been helping him with that.. but here's a few pics of how she is now!!

So that's it really.. Got a golf arm and elbow to fit once I get an air filter then alloys next, just have to wait until after a couple of holidays coming up! :-D

Cheers dude! yeah nice wheels are a must.. just cash money dictates that once its on low profiles it should be much lower... those balloon tyres dont help!

Haven't updated much at all... Not really done a lot cosmetically! It's had a new distributor and coil pack recently so running nicely :) Still undecided on what wheels to get, might wait until next year to see what I can get! Added bonnet lifters though on the weekend, nice little touch I think!

Will update more when something actually happens! :-D

Little update...

Hubcaps back on.... Chrome handle inserts... All stickers have now been removed.... rear has now also been raise so it sits level with front! Nearing 100,000 miles now! eek
