Today I removed the EGR valve and pipe and cleaned them out. Doesn't seem to have fixed the problem though. I think my EGR valve might be stuck open.

I also found the cause of my clunky O/S/F suspension... a snapped coil and a knackered top bearing!! The bearing was sat halfway up the strut along with the bushing and snapped coil... the bearings falling out everywhere...

Time for some coilovers then. :)

Fitted my coilovers at last:

Got some crazy camber on the N/S though, more so than the other side... I pushed the hub up and in as much as I could while tightening the upper bolt of the two on the bottom of the shock. I did this on my old Golf and it worked great. Hmmm...

How much did you lower it by on the coilovers?

I was lucky enough to drop on one for sale back in may in reflex silver

I just wish I could drive it, although the gearbox is bust at the moment and I'm waiting for garage space to drop it and find the problem and do alot of other things to make it my car, I'm thinking of lowering mine by 50mm just on lowering springs though.

Mines totally standard and tbh i like it that way apart from I'd like to do it drop it like you've done.
