Hi guys some of you may remember me some may not any way since I've been gone... way back in 2009 i got rid of the mk4 open air (check my old blog out ) and went back to bikes then brought a corsa to run about in wasnt good enough so like a muppet brought a saxo vts ( even worse ) and just sold my 1.8gti turbo mk4 golf as it was so costly too run and i was becoming a turbo boost freak ( not healthy on petrol consumption! ) soooo... back to the polo's i go... really am loving this little beast... right a quick low down on spec...

and to be fair guys i LOVE IT!....

another reason i had to say bye too the golf is that I've got a little boy due in October ( n'awww!! )

so time to have something more cheaper to run!...

Tad of a update, paint my rear drum red shall do the calipers tomorrow.. also purchased a fli subwoofer to have that back ground beat, all coming along nicely..

quick question i have coilovers now I've always lowered cars with dampers and spring this is the first time I've had coilovers now the cars pretty low as it is.. although it can go some more question is which way do i turn the collar to lower it? upwards or down wards any help would be greatly appreciated folks... many thanks... pics will be uploaded tomorrow cheers all.. :)

Hey mate, no the gti was costly on fuel a real dream to drive though and i have a little lad on the way so need to save money not burn it on fuel so the little 1 pop made sence, so turning it down towards the ground will lower it i gather?.. i thought it was up as i thought it would compress the spring therefore lowering it... sorry to sound a complete thicko bud... just never had coilovers always been a shock and spring man aha... cheers mate appreciated.

Yeah thats right, you turn the bit the spring sits on towards the ground to lower it and towards the sky to raise it

Haha its low as it is but been having a snoop round and can go much lower so i think i'll have a play tomorrow if weather permits

Hey people slight boring update, lowered her abit more today on the fronts gone as much as I can without fouling the driveshaft, got a nice tuck up front :) tomorrow I shall do the rears and then we will even lower :)
