Evening!

Woo my first post on club polo!

I brought my first car a couple of months ago (P Reg 1.6GL Polo), but it didn't come with any handbook, or service & repair manual.

I have been looking on Ebay, and there are loads of Haynes manuals etc on there but I'm not sure wether these are the right ones to buy?

If anyone wants to offer some advice it would be greatly appreciated.

First of all welcome.

I take it you're after the officical documents that came with the car??

If so I'd try the VW dealer.. see how much they are.

You will have to get a duplicate service history book.

Haynes manuals are big books that tell you how to work on your car.... I don't think that's what you want

Thanks for that tho, I thought as much but thought I would ask before hand!

In my document pack I have:

-Polo Owner's Manual

-Service Schedule

-some bollocks about the 3 year warranty

And some other guide about the basics of the car, which is in my glovebox I think

The only one that's worth anything is the Service Schedule booklet. Shows where and when the car was serviced, and what was done.

The rest of them aren't important at all really. Any of the info in them can easily be found on here
